Tell us a little bit about you.

My name is Leandro, I’m from Argentina, and I have been in the trading industry for almost 4 years.

How long have you been trading?

I have been trading for about 4 years, and I am a full-time swing trader.

Briefly describe your Trading Plan and how it contributes to your success.

My strategy is very simple; I try to keep everything as straightforward as possible. I mark the support and resistance levels from the monthly chart down to the 4-hour chart, and I use the 1-hour chart to open my trades. At the same time, I risk 0.5% on my first trade, and then I gradually increase the risk, but I always try to keep it below 1% risk.

Please share with us a challenge you faced in your trading career and how you overcame it.

The biggest challenge for me was the correct use of risk in each position and also having the necessary patience not to open trades with a lower chance of success.

It may sound like a cliché, but psychology was the most difficult part for me, and my big breakthrough was having good risk management.

How did you adjust risk management to your trading personality?

I always risk between 0.5% and 1% per trade. Generally, I start by risking a small amount to have a cushion for the next trades and to avoid falling too far from the initial balance.

Describe a key moment in your trading career.

The key moment in my journey as a trader was when I focused on Price Action, diving deep into it, making it as simple as possible, and stopped spending time on other strategies.

How long does it take to become a consistent trader, and what aspects did you change that helped you become consistent?

It took me about two and a half years to become profitable, and risk management was the most important part.

What is your mental/psychological strength, and how did you develop it?

Letting go of my trades was the most important part, understanding that once the trade is open, I have no control over how it will turn out.

What was your strategy to successfully pass The5ers’ evaluation?

I use price action with support and resistance, and I wait for a 30min/1hr candle to close for entry confirmation.

How is trading for The5ers different from trading by yourself?

Working with 5ers allows me to access capital that I don’t have, and at the same time, the rules on the platform help me avoid overtrading, and I really like the community.

What would you recommend to someone who is just starting with us?

To anyone who is starting out, I would recommend taking your time; the results will come if you dedicate the necessary time.
