I am an 18 year old trader, I started trading stocks back when I was in high school. I switched over to Forex to accommodate my work schedule. I used to skip classes and ditch school to learn how to trade because I always knew Forex was my “way out” Now I am funded and traveling the world.
since May 10th 2021, almost 3 years, I am full time trader.
I trade based of liquidity sweeps, It is a major contribute to my success, It has helped me read price action and understand where peoples “stops” are at. It helps me understand how big banks and institutions play.
My biggest challenge was living in my car. I was trading and living in my car in Florida. I did not have enough money for rent or anything, so I got food in hotel breakfasts and travel from place to place while trading on my computer. I later got funded and this gave me the capital to trade and live freely. But this moment was a pivotal point in my trading journey because it marks my all time low and how I used it to become successful.
I ALWAYS only risk 1%. Nothing else
A Key momentum was becoming profitable. After studying and backtesting every day for 10 hours for nearly a year straight and then taking it live for a month or so, I knew I had become consistent.
It took me about 2 years, I had to learn directly under mentors instead of blindly watching strategy videos on youtube.
It is completely robotic, the way it should be while trading…I developed it by experiencing major losses first hand and reading ‘Trading in The Zone’ by Mark Douglas
