Tell us a little bit about you.

I’m a former head chef of a restaurant turned into a day trader. Was fed up with the amount of pressure and working hours I was under and decided to change my life. Took me long hours and hard work to reach consistency, but in the end, using ICT concepts, it all worked out.

How long have you been trading?

I am a full-time trader and have been trading for 5 years.

Briefly describe your Trading Plan and how it contributes to your success.

I use ICT concepts to determine my entry. I determine higher timeframe bias at first, then look for the right time of the week to line up with my premium or discount levels to buy/sell. I use OTE levels and FVGs as entry points after timeframe alignment has occurred.

Please share with us a challenge you faced in your trading career and how you overcame it.

Psychology is the hardest part, not rushing the process was the hardest part. Taking it slow and steady and really waiting for ideal conditions to present itself. No need to trade every day.

How did you adjust risk management to your trading personality?

I like to keep it around 0,5% – 1,0% max. I don’t like putting high risk on.

Describe a key moment in your trading career

The key moment was realizing I don’t need to trade every day and waiting for the higher timeframe to be in line with my daily bias.

How long does it take to become a consistent trader, and what aspects did you change that helped you become consistent?

Took me over 3 years to become consistent and the change I made was patience and not rushing the process.

What is your mental/psychological strength, and how did you develop it?

My mental strength is patience. I will wait long periods of time until the ideal conditions present itself.

What was your strategy to successfully pass The5ers’ evaluation?

As outlined earlier, I use ICT concepts. Timeframe alignment intraday lining up with Higher Timeframe key levels.

How is trading for The5ers different from trading by yourself?

I appreciate the spreads and the return on investment by being able to trade higher amounts of capital.

What would you recommend to someone who is just starting with us?

I would recommend taking it slow, and you don’t need to rush the challenge, as there is no time limit.
