Tell us a little bit about you.

I’m an electronic engineer and a full-time trader. I’m a creative person who likes to read books, watch movies, listen to music, and also like to do sports. (MMA, Skateboarding, parachuting, wakeboarding, and surf)

How long have you been trading?

I have been trading for almost 3 years, and I am a full-time trader.

Briefly describe your Trading Plan and how it contributes to your success.

My trading plan is to watch all the movements of the markets during the Asia-London session, watch for the fundamentals of the day, make my technical analysis, and wait for the best opportunity to show up. I always trade with the same lots, and I adjust the risk to fit the prop firm mandate.

Please share with us a challenge you faced in your trading career and how you overcame it.

The challenge that I faced was to be consistently profitable, and I overcame it by doing proper risk management and using statistics.

How did you adjust risk management to your trading personality?

I have a hard stop loss based on my trading history. So when I reach that level, I’m out of all the trades.

Describe a key moment in your trading career

When I passed the 5ers challenge, I knew I had reached my goal to become consistently profitable.

How long does it take to become a consistent trader, and what aspects did you change that helped you become consistent?

It took me almost 3 years to understand how the markets moves and apply statistics to my trading plan. I avoid emotional trading and only follow my plan, no questions asked.

What is your mental/psychological strength, and how did you develop it?

My mental strength is not to be emotionally attached to my positions and understand that everything is a probability.

What was your strategy to successfully pass The5ers’ evaluation?

My strategy is to combine technical analysis tools with fundamentals and proper risk management. Everything was tested with live trading, with no backtesting.

How is trading for The5ers different from trading by yourself?

The difference is that trading for The5ers has a mandate, so I need to reach specific goals. When I was trading by myself, it was very hard to set realistic goals, so I committed some of the trading sins. (overtrading, overleverage,emotional trading, ect)

What would you recommend to someone who is just starting with us?

To be patient, everything takes time. Track your trades, analyse your results, and adjust to meet all the goals. Think out of the box and try new things.

I read about the life of Jesse Livermore, and it was very inspiring to me in my trading career. Nothing new under the sun.
