Tell us a little bit about you.

I am Santi Othivet. I am from Laos. I am 28 years old. I love reading books.

How long have you been trading?

I started trading with my own funds with many brokers in 2019

Briefly describe your Trading Plan and how it contributes to your success.

The Trading Plan is pretty simple. I use the TradingView website to set up and follow the real-time economic news. My main strategy is trading using Eillot Wave, Trend Rider, Support and Resistance, and SMC (Smart Money Concept)

Please share with us a challenge you faced in your trading career and how you overcame it.

Of course, traders cannot be perfect. They cannot win every time. It’s better to take a break after a bad day and sit back to think about the mistakes and try to sort them out from time to time. I almost hit the max drawdown with 5ers, but in the end, I tried my best to come back, and yes I did it.

How did you adjust risk management to your trading personality?

My daily profit target is not big, only 1% of the initial balance. When I hit my target, I have to stop for that day. Also when I am at loss, I will stop at 1%

Describe a key moment in your trading career

I have a lot of great moments. I will share with you one of them. I opened a trade Buy 2.0 lot during the war. I gained a big profit because the price moved up more than 1500 points. This is one of the best moments in my trading career.

How long does it take to become a consistent trader, and what aspects did you change that helped you become consistent?

Almost a year, I would say. I learned a lot, and it paid off with my hard work

What is your mental/psychological strength, and how did you develop it?

As long as I follow my trading strategy, I don’t care if the trade will close with profit or loss. I always close the PC and try to find some interesting things to do after I open trades.

What was your strategy to successfully pass The5ers’ evaluation?

I use many different strategies. My main strategy is trading using Eillot Wave, Trend Rider, Support and Resistance, and SMC (Smart Money Concept)

How is trading for The5ers different from trading by yourself?

I am more organized and obsessed with trading rules which I need to follow when trading with 5ers, unlike trading with my own funds. Trading with 5ers is great. I love the way I perform my trades.

What would you recommend to someone who is just starting with us?

Take it easy. Everything takes time. Don’t rush and put yourself under pressure. Have a good trading strategy and try to make a profit from that.
