Tell us a little bit about you.

I am Rick, and I am traveling the world together with my wife after selling everything in the Netherlands. We are currently living in a big adventure with a lot of freedom, and we are enjoying every second of it 😎🌎. And for me, I’m living the dream because I can travel and trade at the same time 😊

How long have you been trading?

Trading myself for 12 months; before that, I was only investing in traders. I am a full-time trader.

Briefly describe your Trading Plan and how it contributes to your success.

My Trading Plan is very consistent, combined with good risk management. I created my own strategy that perfectly fits my personality. So, my success is my consistency at the moment.

Please share with us a challenge you faced in your trading career and how you overcame it.

The biggest challenge was getting consistent, but after learning a lot about building Expert Advisors, checking videos to create consistent strategies, and networking with other traders who are way smarter than me, I finally achieved my goal.

How did you adjust risk management to your trading personality?

Use proper lot size, MA, and RSI. Start with small amounts of money, and every little growth is still growth.

Describe a key moment in your trading career

I have many moments, but one moment that made me realize that I was determined to achieve my goal was when I initially started trading without SL and then lost a lot of money. After that loss, I decided to go on. That’s when I knew I was mentally ready to achieve my goal!

How long does it take to become a consistent trader, and what aspects did you change that helped you become consistent?

It took me 1 year to get where I am right now.

What is your mental/psychological strength, and how did you develop it?

My personality is very relaxed and I’m here for the long run and also happy with small wins. So, I’m happy with every little achievement to become more consistent.

What was your strategy to successfully pass The5ers’ evaluation?

Being consistent and not stopping after hitting a DD.

How is trading for The5ers different from trading by yourself?

You guys are very transparent and always help if there’s a problem. That’s why you guys are one of the best propfirms for me.

What would you recommend to someone who is just starting with us?

Make small steps, go for the long run, use a SL, and you have to feel in your whole body that you want to achieve your goal!
