Tell us a little bit about you.
I am an 18 year old part time trader from the UK. I have been trading with prop firms since the begining of the 2025 and have found success with prop firms in Q4 of 2025. Overall, I found out about trading in 2023 and I got into it in 2024, I then started part time trading when I turned 18 in 2025. Big shout out to the 5ers, who paid me out 4,800 dollars on my first payout.
Briefly describe your Trading Plan and how it contributes to your success.
I trade EURUSD during London session and Nasdaq during NY session. I look for continuation or reversal trades during these sessions. To do this I use higher time frame narrative and liquity points to target and give me market direction. I then find fair value gaps on the lower time frames to be respected or disrespected and a close above or below a inverse fair value gap for an entry. With that, I will put my stop loss below or above the IFVG and target my higher time frame point of interest or liquidity points.
Please share with us a challenge you faced in your trading career and how you overcame it.
I would say a huge challenge for me was trying to fast track trading and get money FAST. This is very detrimental to your trading and can lead to over trader and over risking as your are trying to go big or go home to make money fast. This is one aspect of the psychological side of trading and can have a big affect on your success.
Describe a key moment in your trading career
I think realising it is not a get rich quick scheme and that you have to find a strategy that resonates with you, sticking with it and putting in the hours to learn the strategy. That was a big turning point in my trading and changed my trading forever.
How long does it take to become a consistent trader, and what aspects did you change that helped you become consistent?
It took about 2 years of trading, one year of learning, making the beginner mistakes and psychological battles, then a second year of knuckling down with one strategy and working with prop firms. I saw the biggest change when I found a mentor and community to learn from and get real support from a real profitable trader. Doing it alone only makes the journey to profitability longer.
What is your mental/psychological strength, and how did you develop it?
I believe you have to be almost emotionless when trading which is not always possible. Being okay with losing money and being in a position to have that ability so you are not trading scared. Being confident in your ability and strategy. But most of all just trading with your money at risk, that is the best way to truly work on your psychology as when your are trading demo for example you don’t really care and emotion doesn’t come into the equation.
How does it feel to trade with The5ers?
Knowing that the prop firm your are trading with is going to pay you out gives the most piece of mind. I have traded with many firms, even had payouts declined despite meeting all their rules. No other firm compares to The5ers and the rules and conditions cannot be beaten. I have had no issues with slippage, spreads, risk or payout declines despite my strategy or how I manage risk.
