Does My Drawdown Limit Change After a Withdrawal?

last update: July 20, 2026

Every time you withdraw a payout, your drawdown limit resets to 4% below your new balance (after the withdrawal).
Example: Your account grows to $55,000, making the drawdown limit $52,800.
You withdraw $1,500, leaving a balance of $53,500. Your new drawdown limit is 4% below that ($51,360).

So each payout gives you a fresh 4% buffer based on where your balance stands after the withdrawal.
