We spoke with Stamatis about his trading plan, insights, and lessons gained while trading in the markets and our platform as a funded trader.

My name is Stamatis Gazgalidis, I am from Greece, I am married, and I have 3 children. I deal with forex trading as a second job since my main job is a professional driver.
I have been trading for 3 years, and I am a scalper.
My trading plan is scalping and sometimes day trades. I have target the price action. I believe that my success is based, above all, on risk management. Managing emotions and patience.
One challenge I faced was when my account, while it was plus 5k profit within two days, went -15k, and for the next 2 weeks, I couldn’t win any trade.
It may sound like a cliché, but psychology was the most difficult part for me, and my big breakthrough was having good risk management.
I deal with risk management very strictly. 1-2% for each trade. As well as I have set a specific amount that I should lose during the day or up to 2% stop loss
I don’t think I’ve been to the most important moment of my career yet
It took about 2 years, and to achieve this, I had to work very hard with myself and my psychology
A cold executioner, I managed not to care if I lost a trade or to win. And I am doing it with a lot of struggle and faith in myself.
Mostly my strategy was scalping
I don’t think it makes any difference. I now feel so comfortable with them that I consider them my real family.
What I have to suggest to someone who is just starting with The5ers is to pay close attention to the rules, be honest with yourself, and believe in yourself. If you do that, the winners will come out.
Undoubtedly, one of them is the forex factory.
