I have been working at the head office of a bank in Thailand. I work in the IT field. I trade manually, but I also utilize bots to complement my strategy.
I have been trading for 10 years.
I open 24 chart windows for forex pairs simultaneously, each loaded with my own custom-developed indicator and trading strategy. If the conditions meet my criteria, I either enter the trade manually or utilize my bot to execute the trade at my desired entry and exit points.
Trading strategies, no matter how well-planned, can still encounter errors. Periodically, I make adjustments to the indicators or modify the strategy to ensure it remains aligned with market conditions. I have faced many failures, but I never give up. I continually push forward, making sure my efforts are grounded in strategy and never in reckless gambling.
Every position has a stop loss, but I also have a hidden stop loss based on the reverse direction of my indicator. If that happens, my bot will close the position.
Every indicator repaints, so I created an indicator to capture the chart windows every 1 minute. I review past images to adjust my indicator or my strategy.
For 3 years, my strategy has been going well, and I discipline myself to trade only when specific conditions are met.
I strive to avoid overconfidence and excessive emotional involvement, aiming to maintain a balanced and neutral emotional state.
My breakout strategy uses my own custom-developed indicator on multiple timeframes.
