- Do you have a specific trading plan?
I use fractal geometry and price action to find my entry and exit points.
- Please describe your trading routine?
I get up at 4-5 AM and have prayer and then do a home workout. Breakfast then I like to check out the general market news, economic prints, etc. Then, I scan my desired forex pairs for fractal structures that satisfy my parameters for a potential trade set up. Set any trades/alerts and then monitor those trades and enjoy my family and my life to the fullest!
- Do you have any risk management techniques? If so, please, elaborate?
Yes. I use a max percentage for any one trade loss. (scaled in positions and singular entries).
- What was your biggest challenge in trading, and how did you overcome it?
Patience has been my biggest challenge. I have learned to let the trade come to me and to embrace the fact that patients will sometimes cause you to miss some trades. But the end result is better entries with less risk.
- What was the key moment of your trading career?
After at least 10,000 hours of chart time, I discovered a new way of looking at price action. Fractal geometry for lack of a better term. Sounds complicated but it’s really quite simple and beautiful in its form.
- What do you think are the most important characteristics for maintaining a stable trading career?
For me, it is faith, family, friends, and living a healthy, active lifestyle. For the trading aspect, LOVE my subject, the trading chart. An artist won’t likely paint a beautiful bird if they hate birds.
- Do you apply any mental/psychological routines while trading? Please elaborate.
Once my morning routine is finished I get to the charts and do my technical analysis. If I find a trade set up, I execute the trade plan. Hands off, no emotion and let the trade breath and do what it is going to do.
- What was your strategy for successfully passing The 5%ers’ Evaluation Program?
My main focus was on risk management. Trusting my trading plan and knowing that patience and discipline will win in the long run.
- Please share your recommendations for online resources that were/are significant in your trading development.
